It's of no point to start on one without thoughtful knowledge to what you are researching on. The type of research approaches employed do matter a lot. Selecting the most suitable way of collecting primary data and analyzing your data to find answers proves to be very difficult for most students.

Where does one start?

One must follow instructions laid to you by your instructor carefully. He/she must make sure of what the instructor requires of you in writing. Secondly, choose a topic that interests you. Main Body

It consists of the Literature Review, Hypothesis, Research Methodology, Presentation of findings and the Data analysis.

Literature Review describes, summarizes, clarifies, and gives a theoretical review of the research which in turn should help you determine the nature of your research. The main reason to have this is to help the reader understand the knowledge and ideas on a topic. It is part of the body which should be guided by a purpose which in this case is your research objective as well as your guiding principles. It states the problem or issues you are discussing. Your arguments should be in a well-laid structure, and the composition of your text should be rich.

Formulation of a Hypothesis, the role of the hypothesis is to guide the researcher and to keep him on the right track. It is made to test its empirical or logical consequences.

Research Methodology is the process of collecting primary information and data for making decisions. The main aim here is to come up with research processes to discover answers to questions through the application of scientific procedures.

Presentation of findings

It is the main section of your research where you present your data and your findings produced by the original quantitative analysis. It will specifically vary on the specific research design and statistical method employed for example: If you use a research design on the testing of regression models, then your findings should start by presenting the overall regression model and briefly describe the way this model was arrived at. The results should then be used to answer the hypothesis formulated in the previous chapter.

Data Analysis. The analysis of data requires several closely related operations. There are several methods of analyzing data, i.e. Qualitative method in which studies are done using focus groups, Interviews, experiments and the Quantitative method where it involves critical analysis and interpretation of figures.

Conclusion

Lastly, choose a creative title for your topic which should capture the reader's attention from the first moment they lay their eyes on it. It should provoke an interest to the reader to encourage him or her to continue reading. Also, include relevant reports, news, recent social events to capture the attention of the reader. Finish by going through your research paper to bring a creative title for the term paper.

Writing a term paper should not be done so in a hurry but after a careful research.
